Visit Maria Island
World heritage listed Maria Island is only a short ferry trip away with ferry crossings running on a regular schedule from nearby Triabunna, just 5 mintues drive from the Eastcoaster.
Take the ferry to the island where you can enjoy exploring the original convict settlement of Darlington and learn the island’s history.
Wombats wander among wallabies, Forester kangaroos, Cape Barren geese and one of the healthiest populations of Tasmanian devils.
